OXON CREEK TOWNHOMES
Oxon Creek

Four hundred units of deteriorated apartments were razed to make way for 210 single-family townhomes on 15 acres within the Villages of Parklands. The three-story townhomes were built in four different designs with varying facades and include cornices, overhangs, and pedimented windows and entries. Interior space ranges from 1,500 to 1,900 square feet. Residents of the townhomes enjoy all the amenities of the Villages of Parklands and live directly adjacent to a 110,000 square foot arts and recreation campus, THEARC, which houses The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, Covenant House Washington, Children’s Health Project of DC, Corcoran Gallery of Art, Hadley’s Park, Levine School of Music, Parklands Community Center, Trinity University Adult Learning, Washington Ballet, Washington Middle School for Girls, and Washington School of Psychiatry. The Townhomes at Oxon Creek was awarded the 2001 Urban Land Institute Award for Excellence.
