HUNTINGTON VILLAGE Located at 3521 Stanton Road, SE, Huntington Village is a 100% project-based Section 8 rental apartment complex. Substantial renovation of the property was completed in partnership with East of the River Community Development Corporation in early 2008. With residents remaining on site throughout construction, kitchens and bathrooms were replaced, new windows and roofs were installed, and grounds were improved with lighting and new landscaping. The $20.2 million renovation included $1.8 million in DC Department of Housing and Community Development acquisition financing as well as LIHTC and tax-exempt bond financing from the DC Housing Finance Agency.
