TREMONT GRAND William C. Smith + Co. owns and manages two hospitality venues in Baltimore, MD: the Tremont Plaza Hotel and the Tremont Grand. The Tremont Plaza is an all suite property located in the hub of downtown Baltimore’s cultural, business, shopping, and entertainment district. The Tremont Grand is a seven-story 90,000 square foot Renaissance Revival-style property providing the city with a one of a kind facility for both conference and social events. This state of the art facility has also provided a substantial number of new job opportunities for members of the immediate community while contributing to the revitalization of historic Charles Street. WCS Development undertook a $25 million historic restoration of the Tremont Grand, completed in 2007, and has been recognized with the 2007 Maryland Historical Trust award for the adaptive reuse of an historic property. |
